The Punch reports that the businessman had been a regular at the brothel in Umunede, where he reportedly lodged that night with the sex worker, identified as Ebere. But after a round of fun with the 31-year-old (just a slice of their all night bargain), the man made to take a bottle of drink but the prostitute allegedly induced him to sleep. It was after this that the night worker allegedly made away with the briefcase containing a huge sum of hard currency and other items belonging to the businessman, when she discovered that he was fast asleep. Gloria who reportedly witnessed the incident, said the customer had lodged on Monday evening while carrying a big briefcase only to have woken up the following day screaming for help after the girl had disappeared. The bar manager of the brothel, Nnamdi Frank, is said to be helping the police with further investigations after several calls to the woman’s phone were not answered. “We are investigating a report of a stolen briefcase containing huge sums of money and a driving licence and we hope to bring the girl to book,” a police source said. In the same Delta state, a 20-year-old girl identified as Ifeoma has had her nude photos posted in every part of her area in Obieruku, Ukwani local government area after she snatched her friend’s boyfriend. According to Leadership, the woman was alleged to have snatched her close friend’s boyfriend, but hired suspected female cultists were said to have stripped her naked in a forest and molested her. Ifeoma, the daughter of a furniture maker on Amai road, popularly called Abacha in Obieruku, was reported to have left her father’s house after a minor disagreement with him and moved into her friend Faith’s residence before the incident occurred.
